Since 2005, we have been making waves emanating far beyond the boundaries of our estate. This phenomenon, our “Ripple Effect”, inspired the creation of this wine. Making its debut with the 2021 vintage, this Cabernet Sauvignon embodies the quintessential Skipstone characteristics: a distinctly nuanced and balanced wine offering a dense core of fruit that resonates across the senses with a taught, focused freshness. The 2022 Ripple Effect leaps from the glass with sensual aromas of blackberry reduction, ripe wild berries, graham cracker crust, and plum skin. The sumptuous palate is rich and dense with flavors of black cherry and crème de cassis intertwined with hints of spice box, dark chocolate, and pine. The finish is long and pure, revealing a gorgeous sweet floral note and perfectly integrated tannin.

From Champagne's most treasured Grand Cru vineyards in the Cote de Blancs. A multi-vintage base cuvee from 2019 through 2022 contributes vivacious and captivating aromas and flavors of lemon zest, white peach, and white flowers. Addition of a perpetual reserve dating back to 2009 provides extra dimensions to the wine, notably an unctuous hazelnut note and complex depth, which gives way to a spectacularly persistent mousse on the palate. Best enjoyed now through 2033.

67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec.

The 2022 Preface slides sensuously from the glass with enticing aromas of crushed blueberry, chocolate covered cherries, warm cassis, and raspberry reduction interlaced with attractive notions of sandalwood incense and baked clay. A core of gorgeous black fruits glides across the silky palate and is framed by ripe, fine-grained tannins on the extended and energetic finish. Enjoy today with a brief decant. Best from 2024 to 2031.

Continuing generations of Fahri's family legacy of making olive oil, Skipstone's certified organic and extra virgin olive oil is produced with timeless traditional methods:  hand-harvesting and cold pressing our Manzanillo olives.  100% of all proceeds from our olive oil are donated to the Geyserville Volunteer Firefighters.
