A native of the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean, and having grown up in a family of olive farmers, Fahri has a special affection for Melina's Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil, named after his daughter. The opening slope to the estate is graced with 550 trees, mostly the Manzanillo variety. The orchard is farmed organically and sustainably and produces an oil of unmatched quality. Manzanillo olives, typically used as table olives becuase of their low oil content, are rarely used in oil making because the yeild is so low. However, the quality and delicacy of the Skipstone oil is truly extraordinary and makes the Melina's Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil so sought after.
