Another highly polished Merlot bottling from our estate’s benchland Merlot block. Wafting from the glass is an extraordinary bouquet of late-season raspberries and plum, intermingling with tea leaf and cedar. As with its “Right Bank companion,” Faultline Vineyard, this 2019 exhibits the fleshy, ripe, mouth-filling fruit character we have seen across all of our 2019s at Skipstone. This silky mouthfeel and core of red and blue fruits, draped with baking spices, cascades across the palate and finishes for up to a minute.
