Preface, our entry point into the Skipstone portfolio, is a Cabernet-based blend crafted from our young vines and designed to be enjoyed in its youth. Approachable and vibrant, it offers an ideal introduction to the Skipstone style as a wine not meant for extended cellaring, but for this evening's table.

Our 2024 Preface offers vibrant aromas of black cherry, cassis, raspberry reduction, and violet layered with hints of tobacco leaf, cocoa, and dried flowers. Fine-grain tannins and bright acidity frame a core of pure red and black fruit, creating a wine that is supple, fresh, and inviting.
